What weight of linen would that be specifically?

Fabrics-store.com is having a huge sale right now of different grades and
weights of linen.

They had a return of several hundred yards of bleached linen different
weights. They have the doggy bags (1 to 3 yards all colors) and oops bags
(up to 100 yards).

They list the details of the fabric so you know what you are getting weight
wise.

This is where I get all of my online linen, no other affiliation with them,
just a happy customer. :)

I've got some blue (Elfsea and Ceatta blue). Not too much, only about 33
yards. Genna knows the quality of it, since she has made me a shirt out of
the the yellow/or/ version of the same linen (from same shop and all).
Well, she knows the yellow/or version -- the blue is the same quality but
she hasn't truthfully worked with it as of yet --

Do you, or does anyone else right now, have any armor grade linen fabric?

Hello All!

Next Saturday, the 17th at 11 a.m. I'll be holding a class for all those
interested in learning how to make an armour shirt that is rapier legal. It
will be a simple, tunic-style pattern so even if you are new to sewing, you
can still manage it fairly easily.

Please bring some sort of tracing paper for copying patterns. Kraft paper,
butcher paper, seamstress tracing paper and even solid colored junk fabric
will all work for this. Make sure you have large enough pieces as the sleeve
pattern pieces are pretty wide.

It will also help to have the measurements of the person(s) for whom you are
making the shirt(s).

Class will be in my home in Bedford. Please RSVP to gennac at gmail.com for
directions.

See you all at practice!
Genna
