There is almost half a mile of open green grass pasture between the site and the back gate. I think there's plenty of room.

At issue with a war practice is space requirements. On Sunday, we still have Archery and Knife, Axe and Spear going on on the "lower forty" field. In closer, we have Rapier Championship going on. Where, O where, is a safe place to hold such a practice?

I haven't seen this posted anywhere, but it seems like a gimme:
How about war practice at Warlord? We've had war practices at Warlord on Sunday in the past - they've generally been a lot of fun, and pretty productive to boot. So what are the feelings on doing it again this year?
