Greeting All,

                Masks & Masquerades!
No Mask for the Lindenwood Ball? Don’t despair!

Join us on July 18th for the Elfsea A&S Night for a
workshop on Mask Making. It will start at 7:30 with
a brief overview of masks as used in the SCA period.
Then everybody can quickly progress to making his or
her own Mask!
Start thinking about what you will be wearing for
the Ball.
Will you be a Rose, a Peacock, or a
Troll?

I will provide plain white plastic mask for the base.
(Not period, but cheep!)
Other materials will be available for sharing and
use: flowers, fancy papers, ribbons, feathers, paints,
etc. If you have something specific in mind, please
bring it along, or bring random stuff to share –
scraps of cloth or trim too small for a project, a
broken earring, horns, fur, paper from scrap booking,
etc.
Cost – $0.50 + Depends on what you use and what you
share!

The A&S Night in NOT at Siobhan’s house, instead it
will be at my apartment this month. She deserves a
break after her long term of service to Elfsea.
Location:
501 Sycamore Ln. #2215
Euless, TX 76039
Building 22 is the last one at the end of the
street. My apartment is on the backside of the
building facing the wooden fence.

Next Month: Intro to Card Weaving

I am looking for commitments from people willing to
teach a class for September (19th) or October (17th).
There will be no A&S Night in November or December.

In Service,
 Lady Hanna von Dahl
