Nobility in fief out rank peerages. But if they get CBs when they step down
the form of address remains the same, His-Her Excellency. If we are
referreing to their Excellencies it is appropriate to do so as follows:

His Excellency Elfsea, Baron Armand Dragonetti, Centurion of the Sable Star
(CSS when written)
Her Excellency Elfsea, Baroness Ameline du Bois, Mistress of the Laurel (ML
when written)

It is never appropriate to use multiple forms of address or titles. For
example Her Excellency Mistress Stella Silvana, Mistress of the Laurel and
the Pelican (plus any of her other numerous accolades) is most correct all
of the time. While Her Excellency Mistress Mistress Baroness Stella Silvana
is both incorrect and inappropriate. On certain occasions another title may
be desired by her for example in the Lysts she could prefer to be addressed
using the marshal title she is entitled to use in Ansteorra and be announced
into the Lysts as: Her Excellency Centurion Stella Silvana.

The tough one is their Graces Mahdi and Valeria, Baron and Baroness of the
Steppes the words "OF THE" become very important. but enough of that
etiquette lesson for today. I remain

ever in service,

Tomas

Well said, Crandall!

Rank-wise, I believe that Landed titles go before Peerage titles, or have I
got this backward yet again?
