Greetings from Mistress Stella-
SCRIBE'S GUILD MEETING IS ON! I don't know why it is listed on the website
as cancelled, but it is still on as far as I am concerned! In fact I will be
teaching a class on how "Bar and Vine" style scrolls are traditionally
painted! (Gosh, I get stuck in the middle of a flood and hail storm on the
way to Moot and have to turn around and go home and everything goes all
flooey! Sheesh!) Come on out and learn about this style of illumination that
was characteristic of 14th century France. This type of illumination uses a
lot of white detail work so if you need help learning how to do white
highlighting this will be one of the important things that I will be
"highlighting" in this class.
	Scribal Guild meets the second Monday of each month. This will be
the 13th of August for this month, that's next Monday! It will be at TE
Armand and Ameline's home starting at 7 P.M. As always, we have all the
materials you need to learn how to paint scrolls if you have never tried it
