Woo Woo!!! Be still myquivering heart!! Not only do I know how to make one, I have TONS of info on how to build hennins...butterfly hennins, towered hennins, truncated hennins...and how to construct the veils for a single wing or a double wing, and have several *real life* photos of truncated hennins with both "cover- the-cone veiling" or the typical Yorkist hidden face *modesty* veiling, made famous in the Royal Portrait of Edward IV's Queen, Elizabeth Woodville. I also have notes and instructions on what to do with your hair ( long or short ) and how to secure the hennin safely to your head to avoid the Dreaded Steeple Falling disaster.

I have been lusting to build a hennin to go with the modified version of a Yorkist/Burgundian gown I am building. In the event that there are any other sturdy and creative souls out there in Elfsea-land whose Dream craves the full majesty of a floating schooner in full sail, let me know. I smell the makings of a possible class here...

Is there anyone that has made a truncated hennin that might be willing to help me?
