Weather Underground radar currently shows two large storm masses. One runs
from San Angelo to Waco to Wichita Falls. The other runs from Killeen to
Waco to Tyler. There is a gap of about 100 miles between these two storm
masses and if the wind holds and their course remains unchanged, they could
very possibly pass to either side of the Metroplex. It is very likely we
will still get some rain and wind, but with a little luck it looks like the
really damaging stuff may only graze us to the northwest.

Good....we chirurgeons maybe won't need to pack so many Ace bandages for the
knees and ankles in the mud....

Looking very forward to seeing everyone....

Hanna was on site earlier today and phoned to say that the high ground where
the fighting will be does drain quickly and she specifically said that the
footing should not be a problem.

What's the turf like? Is there good drainage or do we need to worry about
mud?

Supposed to clear in early evening and be clear and nearly perfect Saturday.
We have the hall, but it is not big enough to fight there. It *is* big
enough to take shelter there and in the big shed that is open on one side.
