[Elfsea] Defender and children??

Not sure even to address it to---
   
  Okay I may get a bit snippy---but I am erked!!!!  I may get a bit defensive.
   
  SCA is a family oriented, right?  Defender is to be a big celebration with family and Friends.
   
  But we have no time for the children-- is this what I am understanding.
   
  First no children's archery ---  and not even being allowed to shoot with the adults.
      Yes it is a coveted title - but I do believe we have a couple of minors who have won "adult" titles.
   
  Now no children's activities at all.
   
  I realize there will be other events--- but I know my children have been looking forward to this event for a while.  That is one thing about Elfsea is that children were never a burden.  
   
  I am very disappointed with the handling of all this---are children even welcomed?
