Subject: 12th Night Thankyou

It takes a lot of people to put on an event and there is never enough time
to thank them all properly.

To begin with, there are Their Excellencies Katheryn Cunningham of the
Barony of the Steppes and, Daire de Haya and Druinne de Saliesbery, Baron
and Baroness of Elfsea, along with with Duchess Conal O'Rhioghbardain,
Central Regional Seneschal who favored me with their confidence and allowed
me to be their event steward.

Next would have to be Count Sir Gunther Jonsson, with much help from his
beautiful Lady Elizabeth Seale, who spent countless hours planning, revising
and organizing the production of the fabulous repast we all enjoyed. I
usually have many reservations about having feast, but everything I tried
was delicious!

The Canton of Glaslyn, who put in for running gate even before I had decided
to advance my bid. They did a tireless job and I know Baroness Ceinwen will
give them all the word fame they deserve for their efforts.

To Honorable Lady Rixende de Rouen, my co-event steward, who helped so much
before the event co-ordinating the Elfsea efforts and gathering the
decorations so that the hall would shine with both Steppes and Elfseas
colors and heraldry.

To Mistress Rhiannon ferch Cian who co-ordinated with Master Robin of
Gilwell and told us of the site which met our needs so well. And further
more to Mistress Rhiannon for being the site liaison and allowed us in to
the site after close on Friday and again early the next day for setup. Then
stayed through closing to make sure all of our site needs and
responsibilities were accomplished as well as lending us a hand in setup and
tear down in the bargain.

To Lady Vivianna Roundtree, who stepped up at the last minute to put all
that had been gathered together and made the hall as beautiful as could be
given such short notice. She has always stepped up when a call has gone out
and her recognition of being given an acorn of the Steppes at 12 th Night
was very well deserved.

Lord Damon Xantos stepped forward, as always, and obtained a trailer at the
last minute to haul all of the Steppes equipment and especially the stage
when the on site stage became unavailable at the last hour.

To Sior Tomas, who came in and helped with setup on Friday night and helped
so much in arranging the hall and merchant areas.

The setup crew Friday night consisted of Baroness Katheryn, Mistress
Rhiannon, HL Rixende, Sior Tomas, Daniel, Lady Vivianna, Lady Regan, and
Lord Will Merric

The teardown crew numbered too many to really list them all, but here are
the ones I remember: Baroness Katheryn, Baron Daire, Baroness Druinne,
Baroness Franchesca, Mistress Rhiannon, HL Rixende, Sior Tomas, Sir Gunther,
Lady Elizabeth, Lord Damon Xantos, Lady Vivianna Roundtree, Don Sebastian,
Lady Adelaide, Lady Maggie, Lady Regan, Lord Gustav, and a number of our
youth to whom I must apologize for not knowing your names, especially the
two who vacuumed the entire hall.

Lastly, the load in crew of Lady Vivianna and Lord Damon who got everything
back into storage after a very long event.

I have probably missed someone and I am sorry if I have done so as everyone
who contributed should receive their word fame.

Thank you all. With out all of you, this event would surely never have
happened.

Borek
