[Elfsea] One the Ideas that was thrown down

Let me interject one thing here.  If this issue continues to be discussed and argued on this or any other list, all attempts by my office to investigate the viability of Three Bridges will cease.  I will not be involved in a dispute.  It has been taken offlist per my e-mail earlier this afternoon.

  You may call B.S if you want but that was what I saw.  Plus you ask for one idea that we thought you thrown down, so please claim down and listen.  Nowadays for people to go do something they need a good solid yes, as the first answer unless there is a good reason.  From the answer we got it felt like we had no support for the local group, from your reaction it sounds like we did.
 
You ask us to make a student organization six month and be active with the sca six months, right.  But we saw that  by the sca rule that we could not use the sca name until we were a group.  Try getting people when you can not use the Sca name or do active in the name of the SCA is hard.  
 
From our view point it was going to a year before we officail event, that would have been 25% or more the normal student time in collage where our member would not see any real progress.  We would have gone head with getting everything ready but it sound like were lone and was not going to get any help or advise from Elfsea.  
 
I am still going to work with three bridge and try to get it running. I have ask for the requirement and plain to push forward for the group.   We never ask for Elfsea or you to build it for the students and we still do not want you to but help and advise should come freely.

If my memory serves me, We ask for a “student organization” to be formed and active for 6 months or so before the paperwork was started for Three Bridges. 
This is an important distinction, The paperwork for getting Three Bridges up and going would be hard and take time and need proof that it could function.
A student organization needed much less…… and it still is not done….I am not a student I could not go to UTA and start your group for you.
You heard NO! We said great get a student organization up and running for 6 months  and if it looks good we can petition the powers that be. 
The SCA does not spin on a dime, it takes paper work, email , and time to get anything done, I did not make it that way that is just the way it is.
I would have and still will support the College group in any way I can, I just cannot start it for you.
