1. How far are you willing to travel to daytrip? (hours, mileage) 2 hours
but flexible
2. What is the deciding factor as to whether you camp or stay at a hotel?
cost
3. Do you find it more expensive to camp or stay in a hotel? Hotels more
costly
4. If you got a break on the site fee, would you be more willing to show up
early and stay late for set up and tear down? As a general rule I am willing
to stay for teardown anyway if asked at other groups' events. I like to
stay anyway at my own groups events. I get there as soon as I can. I don't
have a lot of flexiblity there.
5. If you day trip, what time do you generally arrive at the event and what
time do you leave? Arrive when I get there...leave when the event ends unless
help is needed for teardown.
6. What kinds of things would make you more likely to stay later, lets say
Saturday of the event? (bardic, parties, special nighttime fighting) I
usually stay all weekend anyway.
7. Do you have the ability to have one or two people carpool with you to an
event? (space in vehicle, for them and their stuff) I am not sure yet. I
have just started traveling on my own and haven't gotten adjusted to it yet.
8. What kinds of things do you like in a site? Please rank the following (1
thru 8 with 1 being most important)
1 Shade trees
2 Easy access to water
3 Easy access to electricity
4 Flush toilets
5 Showers
6 Indoor (A/C or heated) hall of some kind
7 Formal parking (Blacktop/cement)
8 Close distance to hotels/food
BONUS POINTS FOR A SWIMMING HOLE/RIVER IN SEASON!
