I second what good Lord Jonathan Bernard has to say.  I for one am willing to pledge myself 
  to running quests and the like to make those 'dead times' a bit easier to handle.  I know that 
  it isn't easy running an event and would like to take some stress off of the autocrats.  
  Besides, it's fun. ^_^
