With you pointing out the number of events, there is just enough events in the area so cutting any would be a bad idea. The fighter practices are doing there job but some local things can help.

The dead time is the time between ones actives. The workers of an event and the autocrat as you said has very little free time but the fighters, the bards and others guest that are not working on the event do have the dead time which we do not normally see because we are running the event and are busy.

An Example is the average fighter that gets done with the tourney and pick up fights at 2:00 pm to 3: 00 pm and showers and cleans in about in 45 mins, usally what I have seen the thing on the schelude for fighter is court which starts around 6 or 7 at good times and then after court there is nothing usally going on. What I have seen there is nothing in those time slots.

I can understand heavy and light tournement being ran at the same time, but there are some things that can be done in the evening which fill that time slot like the bardic. There is little good reasons for it ran during the fighting other then getting everything done so we can have a 3 to 4 hour court or everyone can go home on saturday. Having it in the evening will allow bards to watch the fights which would give the fighter a crowd to watch them and allow the fighter to watch and take part in the bard. As a fighter I do not want to watch the bards when I am hot and sweaty and have to go to field in a couple of mins.
