Thanks for sharing. Didn't realize that an artifact could be had for that low, though the 
reserve hasn't been met on it so it might not be that inexpensive.

The first doesn't look like anything I've ever seen in any viking context. Without some 
corroboration of an artifact similarly designed, I'd have to presume that it is a "viking 
culture inspired" piece and as for it being an antique, that only means it is at least 25 years 
old.

But the other two are truly viking age.

As for where to acquire them, there are several vendors who create brooches similar to those. 
Here in Ansteorra, Master Peter of Northstar Armory makes a decent set of brooches. Raymond's 
Quiet Press has a set cast in bronze that looks more knobby. The most authentic pieces I've seen 
have been at Pennsic offered by a couple gentlemen who bring in items from Europe. They have a 
sweetheart deal with a museum as their items often have details on the back side that are rarely 
seen. They have also been able to borrow pieces long enough to make a mold. Very nice stuff. 
Very pricey, but very very nice.
