We, the Shire of Emerald Keep, do hereby invite our cousins from the Barony
of Elfsea to choose your next Defender at our humble Harvest of the Hunter's
Moon celebration. Pray, allow me to set forth our thoughts on this.

Firstly, as we only are holding our Shieldbearer (for new fighters) and
Memorial Torchlight Tourneys, plus a small rapier tourney, we feel that
there would be ample space and time to include the Defender tourney.
Secondly, with all of the time, effort and funds that I am sure have gone
into preparing for this event, (namely feast) it would be a shame to see all
of that go to waste. Please consider combining our two feasts into a grand
repast that all will enjoy.
Lastly, be assured that the location that we have chosen for our event has
ample space for camping, including cabins for use, bardic and separate
hafla (set by babbling brook) areas, firewood is supplied by site with pits
already in place, a feast hall. Most of the site is handicap accessible
(they hold camps for children with special needs during the summer).
Please let me know of your decision post haste, or if you have questions or
concerns, I will gladly address them.
Yours in Humble Service,
Lord Richard fitzHervy
Seneschal
