[Elfsea] [OT:] [texastailwaggers] Ikie (recovering from surgery after being shot) needs quiet foster home

A some of you will get this twice, as you belong to other groups I'll be
posting this to.
I would appreciate, even if you can't help yourself in the capacity to give
Ikie a foster home, perhaps point us out to someone you know that can.
His profile page is at the bottom of the description, and he's a sweet,
sweet boy. Potty trained, loves cats and dogs and humans alike. HE just
needs a calm place to recueperate. Even if you think your home is a
mad-house, you'd be surprised at what is actually "calm".

Again, I know some of you can't help. You aren't in the DFW area, you can't
have dogs in your paprtment, whatever. All we're asking for is perhaps
showing this to that one friend you think might like to do this.

The up side to fostering is the rescue will give you all the food, medical,
and supplies you need to foster. All you have to do is love and let them
live inside and crate train them. (I think he's well on his way to crate
training anyhow) Oh, and not be in violation of their cities animal limits
if taking a rescue.

I Don't beg often, but Ikie is special. I Would take him into my own home in
a heartbeat if I wasn't at my home's capacity of 3 dogs.

 Please go to our web site and see Ikie. He's a cutie boy and very sweet.
They killed his mom but weren't such a good shot with Ikie breaking free and
being on the run. Thank goodness.
He's recovering and the next thing on the list is to treat him for
heartworms. He'll need to be somewhere where he can be kept calm and
preferably spend a lot of time in a large crate (provided). After he's free
of heartworms, he'll be neutered.

He's really a sweet boy but where he's staying now *won't be available after
this Sunday so this is an URGENT need.*
