Your Excellency,

I would be happy to explain!

A Descendant of the White Oak is one who has served as Bard of the Sun
(Kingdom Bard) for the Kingdom of Atenveldt and have been so named by Their
Majesties. All former Bards of the Sun are admitted unto the Order of the
White Oak, but only those who have been named Descendants may call
themselves such. They are awarded this moniker when they step down in honor
of the Premiere (first) Bard of the Sun, HE Master Ioseph of Locksley. Upon
Master Ioseph's device is a white oak, which is also revered by Druids and
Bards throughout time immemorial. I am allowed to display the white oak on a
banner, wear white oak leaves (so long as they don't clash with any baronial
orders), and have the right to entertain at any court in Atenveldt.

I hope that answers the question. If anyone has any further questions,
either about the Descendant of the White Oak or Bard of Elfsea, I would be
more than happy to assist.

I pray you have a great day!

Ever in service with a song and a smile,
Lady Eleanor Cleavely
