Loch Ruadh has lost
another Ember a few days ago. This
is two Embers
inside a month. Please keep them in your thoughts.

Dragonsifre Tor's Guardian of the Tor is this weekend. Please come
out and support our canton of Dragonsfire Tor. Baron Daire will be
celebrating his 40th birthday.

Genevieve will be holding a "Dinner & Device" in May.
Please contact her if you plan to attend, so she knows how many are coming to
dinner.

Congratulations to Cathal and
Alejandro for a great Elfsea Defender. This was their first time
autocrating an event, and it was very successful. Elfsea made a profit.

Elfsea is looking for a few new autocrats.

We are now accepting bids for Elfsea
 Baronial College
(2010) and Elfsea Defender (2011). This is an opportunity for you to plan
a party for 200 of your closest friends on someone else's dime. Anyone intersted will be paired with a Keystone Advisor, who will help you learn the process. The college is an easy event for a first time autocrat, one day, no camping. The barony has a list of sites.

Thank you to Aelfwyn for her fine service as outgoing A&S
minister. Sarah is the new Elfsea A&S minister.

Open offices:

Elfsea Archery Marshal - If you are an archery marshal, please submit a
request to the Central regional missile marshal, and cc the Baron &
Baroness and the seneschal.

Webminister - If you would like to apply for this office, please apply to
the Kingdom web minister, our current
web minister (Daniel), and cc the Baron & Baroness and the seneschal.

Thank you to everyone who came to the April 17 demo for the Boy Scouts.
It was wet, but the boys had a great time. Thanks to Daniel, Pyro,
Caelin, and Sebastian for running 300+ boy scouts through the archery range in
the rain. Thanks to Baron Daire and Polydore Pike, who worked with
me and assisted 60+ boys make a belt hook to hang their cup. Thanks to
Mistress Catarina and Lady Elayne for viking wire weaving lessons, and to
Mistress Hanna for teaching rope-making. Thanks to Cathal and Gerhardt
for showing the boys in the horned helmets why they needed them, and to
everyone else who came out and helped make this a great demo.

Thank you to Mistress Hanna von Dahl for doing a great job as Elfsea
pavillion hostess at Glaslyn.

Congratulations to the following individuals for success at Glaslyn:

Don Sebastian - Archery Defender

Master Caelin on Andrede - Archery
Keeper (missed this one at moot. My apologies and congratulations
to Master Caelin)

HL Cathal - Chivalric Defender

HL Damon - Rapier Keeper

Damon and Meghan are having an SCA wedding at Castellan. Congratulations
to them, and contact them for more details.

There is a Demo Friday, May 7th at Snow Heights Elementary (8:30-noon), where
as a part of their history fair they have asked SCA members to come wander
around in garb. Please email me with your mundane name, as I must provide
the names of those to attend by May 4th.

Elfsea is looking for a pavillion hostess for Queens
and Steppes Warlord.

Congratulations to Catrina and Gerhardt, who recieved the rights of Pisciary at
Moot. Elspeth received the right of riparian.

Baroness Druinne requests your support at Battle
of 3 Commanders, where
Grainne's troops will be well fed, as Master Caelin is making breakfast and Sir
Daniel du Berdon is cooking meat for supper.

Yours in Service,

Silvius

Seneschal
