[Elfsea] A call for officers for the Barony of Elfsea

Elfsea,
 
  The Barony is a volunteer organization.   In order to remain a barony, Elfsea must have a full slate of warrantable officers, including a seneschal, herald, knight marshal, minister of arts & sciences, treasurer, chronicler, and hospitaler. (Kingdom Law)
 
  Elfsea has openings for the following positions which must be filled to remain a barony:
Treasurer 
Chronicler 
Hospitaler
 
The Treasurer reports up to the Central Regional Treasurer.  
The Chronicler reports up to Central Regional Chronicler.
The Hospitaler reports up to Central Regional Hospitaler.
 
 
All officers are required to be members of the Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc. with immediate access to the Black Star.  They are required to maintain such membership while in office.  All officers are required to train their deputies, if any, in the rights and duties of their respective office. (Kingdom Law, Corpora)
 
In addition, depending on who becomes the next baron and baroness, we may need either a Herald or a Knight Marshal, if one of them would like to step out of their existing offices. I hope they've been training their deputies.
 
To remain a barony, Elfsea needs:seneschal, herald, knight marshal, minister of arts & sciences, treasurer, chronicler, and hospitaler. This is kingdom law.
 
Please apply for an office and encourage your friends to apply for an office.   If no one volunteers, then perhaps Baroness Radegund is right and Elfsea doesn't need to be a barony.  I have already contacted the central and kingdom seneschals to find out what happens to Elfsea if these offices remain unfilled {inactive status, or perhaps become a shire to Dragonsfire Tor or to the Steppes? the mind boggles }.

  Please email submissions for Elfsea Hospitaler to central at hospitaler.ansteorra.org .
 
  If you are interested in becoming a deputy herald, please talk to the Elfsea Herald.  If you are interested in becoming a deputy knight marshal, please talk to the Elfsea knight marshal.  Be advised that you could be promoted from deputy to Elfsea officer in December 2010 if that candidate becomes the next B&B.
