Master Caelin thank you most kindly for your words.
Rhys, The circle we shoot for here is gold and unfortunately your comment is the
extent of training many people get before they start shooting. This causes
aggravation for most and some to quit before they have a chance to enjoy
archery. They also are to shy or embarrased to ask for help.
We try very hard to motivate out new archers so they become old archers
We look forward to seeing you at our practice.

There are techniques which will increase your consistency and your accuracy. Don
Sebastian is both very good at archery and very good at teaching techniques that
work for the vast majority of people. Even good archers get better after a few
sessions with him. IMHO his classes will be well worthwhile.

Archery technique: See this pointy end? Put it in that red circle way over
there. Any other questions? :)
I might have to pull out my bow and Atlatl, I have not used either is a long
time

Anne;
Yes we do. Between the Barony and her archers we can outfit you for shooting.
You are welcome to come out and give it a try.
As a shameless plug, at Kings College I am teaching two classes on Archery you
should find helpful. One is on equipment and the other is on technique.

For those of us who are interested but do not have the instruments to practice
with, does the barony have extras? I am interested but have no idea what I would
need or what to bring, I am a super beginner!

Good Gentles;
I am very happy to announce that the Barony of Elfsea now has a place to
practice archery. The fine folks at Sokol Hall, Ft Worth are letting us use the
field behind their hall. The hall is located at 6500 Boat Club Rd. It is at the
corner of Boat Club Rd. and Cromwell Marine Creek. Yes that is where Coronation
was just held.
We are going to start with two practices a month. Our first dates will be June
12 & 26 and July 10 & 24. We will shoot from 12:00 - 4:00pm. If shooters are
still going strong at 4:00pm we will continue.
As a Archery Marshall at Large I will take care of the official side of this for
now. PLEASE understand that the Barony does not have an Archery Marshall and we
need one. Something to think about.
