The
populace of Glaslyn invites you to join us for our competitions for Artisan
Defender of the Flame, Artisan Keeper of the Flame and Novice of the
Flame.  Competitors may enter up to
three (3) pieces.  Novice competition
is limited to those who have never entered an A&S competition.  Documentation is not required, but is
suggested.  Due to site
restrictions, no brewing entries or alcohol is allowed.  

We
will have a wide variety of classes – schedules and listings TBA.  If you want to teach a class, please
contact the coordinator.  

Site:  Texas
Woman’s University, Student Union Building, Denton TX.

Directions From I35: 
Exit 469, go east on University Ave (Hwy 380) 2.5 miles.  Turn south on Bell Ave on to TWU
campus, 0.3 mile to Administration Dr. 
Turn right to the parking lot. 

Site opens at 8:30.

Site Fee: $5 all
persons 12yrs old and up; 11yrs & under are free. Make checks payable to:
SCA Inc./Canton of Glaslyn. Minors must be accompanied by a
parent or legal guardian. They may also attend with a 21 year or older adult
with a signed and notarized Minor Event Waiver Form from the parents.

 

Pot Luck Dinner to
be held in the evening. All are invited to bring something to share with
friends old and new.
