Would it be OK to poke them if you had the proper padding on the end of the stick?

Just poke them with a stick until they go back into their cave, then leave offerings of choice (scotch, beer, coffee, chocolate, cookies, etc) until the loudest noises have stopped. Leave alone until
they reemerge on their own. Generally works on all landed nobles and even some peers....

Yeah, don't want to see a cranky baron at all.

See you then.

Sounds good. I will let you know by Wednesday if work precludes that idea. And at that point you would not want to see me. Cause I would then be a cranky baron :-)

Keep in mind this week we will be meeting at Lady Elizabeth de Salisbury's home for A&S. If you would like, we can meet at our house on Thursday and talk about designs. I can put out a call for scribes and such to meet here. Then A&S can still happen.

Thank you, Katrine and the Scribal Guild, for volunteering. It is His Excellency’s plan to attend A&S this Thursday, work permitting. We are looking for design ideas for chivalric, rapier, archery, artisan and bard scrolls, that will have a cohesive
theme between the scrolls. Neither of us are adept illuminators or scribes, so we look forward to your input.

This is Katrine. Just let us know in the Elfsea Scribal Guild what you want the designs to look like and the wording you want. You can contact me at
