My brother is in watchmaker's school learning to make and repair very high end watches. He is needs a watchmaker's lathe and hoped we might have someone in the SCA that would sell him one at less than the school is charging. I'll be in town in two weeks at an NAWCC regional and mart. One of the items I'll be shopping for is a watchmakers lathe. The school is placing an order from Germany, but at $4K per lathe, the ones they're buying are out of my range right now. If any of your SCA crowd has one they'd like to sell, I'm in the market until I find one. (I figure they're artsy craftsy enough for someone to have one.)
