[Elfsea] Populace in the Park

[Baroness of Elfsea]

Greetings,

Thank you, Your Majesties, for coming out and enjoying the day with us  It
was a wonderful surprise, and we were so happy to see you!

The banners were flying, the fields were ready, food was being prepped and
cooked...when everyone showed up, it was a perfect day. We had upwards of
70 plus come out and celebrate the beautiful summer day with great food,
arts, and spectacular fighting.  It was truly a site to behold.

Thank you to Herries and Aoife for help with the food.  Coordinating,
cooking and making sure we were fed...  Thank you to EVERYONE that brought
something to share.  The food was fabulous!  Thank you Aine for coming
early and making sure the pavilions were not taken.

We had friends from many groups come out: Elfsea, Steppes, Dragonsfire Tor,
Loch Ruadh, Emerald Keep, Rosenfeld, House Stonefalcon... and more we are
sure.  If we missed a group, please let us know!  We had around 15
newcomers, some new to our Kingdom having just moved here, and some
returning players! Welcome to each, and everyone of you!

Chivalric fighting - there were around 15 fighters? Or more.... it was
quite a draw.  The winner of the Mini Tourney was Creppin.  The final was
Creppin vs. Herries.  Great fighting, Thank you to everyone that came out.

Rapier fighting - We had 6 fighters.  We are enjoying watching Rapier more
and more.  It is so graceful to watch, thank you to all that came out
today.. In the finals it was Don Robin vs. Duke Mahdi.  Don Robin was
victor this fine day.

The Youth came out in force!!! Thank you to everyone that helps, mentors
and encourages them.  They were fun to watch, and visit with.  Would
someone please let us know who the Youth Fighters were?

We would like to thank those in the Barony that came out to help set up,
and tear down, and those that came to socialize, fight and support this
mini event.  It started out a small idea, and ended up an extravaganza, in
true Elfsea tradition.  Thank you for supporting us, and most of all for
being hospitalers to everyone that came out, and to all those in the park
that had questions.  You are all a shining example of this fine Barony, and
this Great Kingdom.  We, humbly, thank you all.
