[Elfsea] Tournament of Champions: DFT Challenge to Elfsea / Canned Goods

Greetings, Elfsea.

Canned goods and pantry items are going on sale for the holiday season...
and some families in our area may need a helping hand.   Earlier in the
year, a public challenge was issued to the Elfsea Seneschal's Office from
the esteemed Seneschal of DFT, centered around his belief that the Tor's
golden ticket winner would advance further in the Tournament of Champions
(TOC) than would the Elfsea golden ticket winner.  Naturally, the challenge
was accepted.

The stakes were set: Each member of the barony and the Tor can wager by
means of canned goods.  Lord Franklin will collect all donations wagered on
DFT's golden ticket winner and I will collect all donations wagered on
Elfsea's golden ticket winner, with the total donations going to the food
bank of the winner's choice, once the TOC has concluded.

I strongly encourage each member of Elfsea to begin placing their canned
good wagers on Sir Louis le Blaireau of Glaslyn, our barony's golden ticket
winner.   Naturally, we welcome DFT wagers as well, since our own Baron and
Baroness have set the precedent to cover all bases by wagering on both the
barony and the canton.
Normans!  So cunning!

More will be posted on this as the TOC draws nigh.  In the meantime, please
consider opening your hearts during this holiday season.  The added benefit
is that we get to play up a friendly rivalry and have a little side fun
with the Tournament of Champions.

Because, as we all know, Elfsea rocks!
