T'was the night before Christmas,
(The week before layoff)
And all through the city,
The snow it did stayoff.

Those working, like me,
Were checking their e-mail.
In hopes that St. Vidicon (of Cathode)
Would crash the corporate server.

OK, it does not rhyme. Or even scan well.
