[Elfsea] from the Central Region Seneschal (Selection process for Elfsea's next baron and baroness)

As your Baron and Baroness have announced their intent to step down as of
September 23, 2023 at the Elfsea Baronial College event, it is time for
those individuals with an interest in serving the Barony in this capacity
to declare their intent. Therefore, I send this missive to you to announce
that the time for submitting those letters of intent will be open from now
until June 25th, 2023. No new entrants will be permitted after June 25th.

There will be an informal populace Zoom meeting on June 8, 2023, to discuss
the polling process and to encourage candidates to submit their Letters of
Intent. I will post the link to this meeting next week, and I encourage you
to attend if you have questions.
Letters of Intent should be provided directly to Their Majesties, Gabriel
and Sonja, at king at crown.ansteorra.org and queen at crown.ansteorra.org, with
copies to the Kingdom Seneschal at kingdom at seneschal.ansteorra.org and
myself at central at seneschal.ansteorra.org. Failure to submit a copy to the
seneschalate could result in the omission of your names from the official
polling ballot, so make sure Mistress Myfanwy and I receive our copies.

On July 6, 2023, there will be a live, moderated discussion with the
candidates, which will be streamed so that all may attend who wish to.
Questions for this will be due from the populace no later than July 4, 2023.
The polling ballot, along with those letters of intent submitted, will be
printed in the July 1, 2023 Elfsea Newsletter. The polling will take place
on July 17th, 2023. Their Majesties have indicated that they will
contacting candidates to arrange for interviews, so candidates should be
prepared for that.
This schedule is made with Their Majesties’ approval, and could be subject
to change at Their pleasure. There will also be more details forthcoming as
the process proceeds.
