[Elfsea] B&B Polling

[Seneschal of Elfsea]

I am the Central Regional Seneschal, and I am in charge of the polling and
polling schedule for Their Excellencies' upcoming step down/step up. I will
also be contacting your local seneschal regarding the meeting date, and I
am aware that you are not in charge of that.



The proposed schedule, approved by Their Majesties, is below. What I need
from you is to let me know what I can do to facilitate getting the
announcements into your newsletter. Is it too late for you to put the due
date for letters of intent and announcement into the June newsletter? It's
taken a bit of time to settle out the schedule to this extent with Their
Majesties, or I'd have got this to you sooner. Thank you for your help.

*5/31 (tonight) Announcement in Elfsea Facebook *group calling for
candidates to submit Letters of Intent and explaining the schedule and
process, including deadlines and meeting dates.



*6/8 Informal populace meeting*, which I hope we can hold on Zoom to get
more participation from the Elfsea populace, to discuss the polling process
and encourage candidates to submit Letters of Intent. This can also be
combined, to some extent, with the Announcement on 5/31, but the
Seneschal's Handbook said there should be a meeting.



*6/25: Due date for Letters of Intent/Deadline to Declare Candidacy.* This
would need to be announced ASAP, and I will also need to coordinate with
the Elfsea Chronicler to make sure that the announcement goes into their
newsletter with this due date. Again, this is part of getting the
announcement on Facebook ASAP, because there is not time to have it in the
newsletter for a full 30 days.



*6/30:* *Final opinion poll form published in Elfsea newsletter*, Facebook
Group, and on Elfsea web site. Letters of Intent posted to Newsletter.
(Assumes that newsletter needs the forms/letters before 7/1.)



*7/6 Moderated Streamed Discussion with candidates, with questions due by
7/4.*



*7/17 Polling Day *(Requires Elfsea being willing to move their meeting up
by a week)
