[Elfsea] Elfsea Camp at Gulf War Thank You

[Baroness of Elfsea]

His Excellency and I had such an amazing time at Gulf War this year! It was
full of camaraderie and friendship, with great neighbors and welcome
guests. First and foremost, we owe a huge debt to Lady Gwenllyan. She was
our land coordinator, arrived first before anyone and stayed until we were
all done to ensure our land was properly cleaned up. Her first night was
good but the second night there was a massive storm that went through site.
She was alone and persevered to ensure we all had a place. She also
assisted with everything and everyone however she could. This was her first
Gulf War and she jumped in with both feet, helping with the BFT,
volunteering for the motor pool to help keep the buses running so that
others could enjoy their war. She was a great companion and friend to have
at war.

M’Lord Kellath, our newest member of our barony, was also experiencing his
first Gulf War. He was able to take it all in and he was everywhere helping
and even got involved in the battles. It was such a joy to share with him.

Lord Alric was also part of our camp group and regaled us with tales and
was a great support to have around. He made the smiles easy! He also gifted
me a set of playing cards that were given to His Highness of Atlantia. His
Highness was most impressed and very excited by this gift. Thank you for
your largesse, Lord Alric!

Her Ladyship Aline and Lord Cenric were another blessing to our camp group
and they created the most amazing wheat free pancakes I’ve ever tasted!
They did leave early to beat the storms but were generous enough to leave
their pop up to provide additional coverage for us that stayed behind. That
greatly helped us, thank you so much for your generosity!

Lord Hakon prepared a most delicious meal of barley beef stew that was
incredible that helped to warm and sustain us all. He regaled us with tales
and fought in the battles. His fire pit was the gathering place for all on
the cool nights.

Lady Hotaru was another joy of our camp and fought valiantly. I believe
there are tales of her fighting and besting a prince from another kingdom.
Her smile and joy were uplifting to all.

Lady Alhdryð was another blessing to our camp. She not only was out
fighting but would sit and enjoy doing embroidery while talking and
spending time with others.

Thank you all that attended Gulf War and camped with us. We so loved the
time, the meals, and the laughter, together. We loved that everyone pitched
in for meals and chores, helping one another and making light of the work
involved in keeping a camp running smoothly. I loved hearing the tales of
the battles and parties. There was fun for all and I will not forget it. A
lot of laughter and time well spent together. Thank you all so much for
making our first Gulf War as Baron and Baroness of Elfsea a successful,
happy, and memorable week!
