Siobhan:

Do mundane patterns (even those that have been altered - like those new Simplicity patterns) get counted in the cost?

I have a Period Connections pattern (I think is where the pattern is from) that I bought at Gulf War a few years ago. I am thinking about making it and entering it in the competition. However, I paid $10 for the pattern (I still have the receipt). If I have to include the price of the pattern, then I'm not going to even try and make the dress - knowing I only have $15.00 left.

If so, if we use a pattern from the Janet Arnold book and draw it out ourself, then how does the cost of a pattern come in the price?

Let me know when you get a chance. I'm not going to start this project until after our A&S mini-tournament on February 26th.

Thanks.

Lavina
