<P>It needs to fit with in an 18 inch cube (18 in wide by 18 in long by 18 in tall.) It can be smaller but not larger. If you are buiding a tebuchet, then the arm can extend beyond the boundries, but in porportion to the rest of the weapon. Let me know what other info you may need.</P>
