<DIV> I think you have some good ideas, Darius, but I think some attitude adjustments on the parents part need to happen. At Raven Fort's most recent event, I went to have a good weekend with my son and wound up being the imported unofficial Minister of Children. Throughout the day Saturday I did not see parents until feast. Instead of spending the day, with just my son, I had to keep other childrem from doing all sorts of things like running into he shooting path of the archers, not swing toy weapons at one another, and, of all things, how to use playground equipment properly. The problm ages were 9 - 11 year old boys mostly. I also did get the "my mom is so-and-so brass" line a few times. The fundamental problem I saw was parents coming for their own fun and just dumping their children off on the poor fool who is trying to keep his or her own children out of trouble.</DIV>
<DIV> I can understand leaving your kids for a few hours with the MoC, but all too often it is expected to be an all-day babysitting service.</DIV>
