helping with demos at Old City Park in Dallas. This is a 1840-1910 village
set up to show what life was like in North Texas back then. Similar to the
Heritage Farmstead Museum, for those who know the place in Plano.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face="Book Antiqua"></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face="Book Antiqua">They have asked not only for demo-ers, but also
craftspersons who want to sell items, for their July 4th event. You do
need to have your wares vetted, and they should fall into the appropriate
timeperiod. I don't know about everybody, but I do know SCA craftspersons
whose goods can pass for 19th Century or who also do later periods of
work.</FONT></DIV>

nothing but 10% of the day’s gross receipts.<SPAN

by email) photographs of their work, so that we may ensure its consistency with

are specifically seeking weavers, broom-makers, and basket-makers, but are open
to all kinds of heritage crafts.</FONT></P>

embroider or spin WITHOUT selling items, let me know. Some of us will be
in costume, but they have not required it for demo workers in the past.
They just ask that we work on things that are not glaringly out-of-period.
I used our last one to work on socks for a mother's day gift.</DIV>
