Good Gentles, the date for the CHF was set more than a year ago.  The Fall Court date was chosen when it could best be fit into the calendar, without mundane considerations.  Combining the two events is the best opportunity to maximize attendance at BOTH events.  Asking Elfsea to join Steppes was another positive opportunity to join with our sister barony in sharing some good times and comeraderie, and allowing both our baronies the opportunity to solicit some new members.
     Let us all make the best use of this event.  Have fun, show off our stuff, make new friends, get some new members, listen to some good music, see some highland games, eat some good food, spend money with some new vendors, and just ENJOY!!
