<P>There's a FINE music scene in Seattle ....you might enjoy the Crocodile Cafe. Check listings for who is playing. Nancy Wilson of Heart often plays acoustic sets there. The EMP -Experience Music Project- is a music museum downtown- very good if you're interested in all different music- and it will take a couple of days to see. </P>
<P>There's an excellent alternative hangout open wee hours called Cafe Minnie's in Downtown. Interesting clientelle- keep an open mind at all times. Be sure to have scones and rasberry jam- home made YUM</P>
<P>If you like to go to Funky Town there's a 70s dance club called Polly Esthers. They have a mirror ball and lighted lucite floor- but also DJ some 80s rock and sometimes bands. Somenights are 70's nights and folks get out the polyester shirts and the gold chains. </P>
<P>Within driving distance for the weekend go to Vacouver BC and see the Butchart Gardens and the Butterfly Garden. Victoria BC is also beautiful and makes a nice weekend activity. </P>
<P>The mountains are gorgeous if you like to hike and Snoqualmie Falls has a beautiful restaurant overlooking the waterfall if you're feeling romantic and want to celebrate something special. </P>
<P>If you go to Pile Place it is customary to order fish at the market (ask what's special today and you may get a surprise!) Hang out and watch their amazing antics- and take a picture with the Brass Pig- right in front by the fish market.</P>
<P>You'll find the Kingdom of AnTir very welcoming and hospitable- and very different from Ansteorra. <BR><BR>Jot uis a line if you want more things to see and do- we lived there quite awhile.</P>
