<P>The reason for the mini-practice today is for a demo to a movie that could possibly be produced. A gentle (I believe his name is Nester) from the film production company attended Dragonsfire Tor Yule Revel and wanted to find some "knights". I can say he got an earful of SCA information. He and another lady from the production company attended our last Monday's fighter practice and asked any interested to attend this Sunday morn for a fighter practice so they can film the fighting. </P>
<P>From what Wolf has assertained from Nester, it will be a children's film. They needed film footage of sample medieval fighting to show ideas for the film to some of the folks who would be financially backing the film.</P>
<P>This has nothing to do with the SCA and is on a volunteer basis. But when you get fighters together in armor, well, they obviously will want to swing sticks.</P>
