We need to look at this calmly. The Scottish festival demo has been 
having problems recently because people take the tickets and don't 
come. I assume they are not coming. Some people tell me that people 
take the tickets and don't work at the demo. I don't believe it. 
First questions 
How many tickets do we have for the Scottish Festival and how many  
for the Akon? This will give us an idea of our max  amount of people 
needed.
Second question
How many people do we really need to run the demos? What skills are 
needed at each demo? fighters, crafters, talkers, etc???
Third Question 
How many people and who are they that each demo autocrat has for sure?
For example, I am sorry Faelen, but my family always does the Scottish 
festival unless they don't want us. We have 3 fighters and a talker. I 
assume that the Baron and Baroness of Elfsea will be at the demo and 
the organizer of the demo. So that would give Elfsea six people to 
start with. With the Baron  that is four fighters. Mistress Amelina 
does A&S and she and I talk to the crowd. What about the officers of 
Elfsea. 

Steppes will have Lord Faelen and the Future Baroness. I think Sir 
Morgan said he was going. What about the officers of Steppes?

If we look at what we have and what we need we can make it. How about 
this. We stress light fighting on Sat. at  Akon and Heavy on Sat at 
Scottish Festival and switch the next day. Trading out our people so 
we are assured of good fighting turn out. We could also car pool which 
would cut down cost and make it possible to get more people at each 
demo.

I feel that many people will come out if we contact them over the 
phone or in person. The list doesn't get to everybody and we had so 
many people that individuals often assume that their personal effort 
is not needed. Newer people are worried that they don't have enough 
knowledge to talk to people. Older people feel tired. We often have 
vague calls for help that really don't sound important. I think that 
is why people take the tickets but don't show up. If we really stress 
that we need people with certain skills and if they show up a one demo 
they will be freeing someone for the other I think we will get the 
individuals we need. 

I believe we can do both.
