My current plan for 12th Night feast is a rather simple meal:<BR>

1st Course<BR>

Manchet<BR>

Cheese<BR>

Beef Egredouce (vegetarian available)<BR>

 <BR>

2nd Course<BR>

Homemade Sausage<BR>

Chicken dish (not sure which yet)<BR>

Peas in broth<BR>

Mashed beans topped with carmalized onion<BR>

Spinach in butter/vinegar sauce<BR>

 <BR>

Sweet<BR>

Custards and tarts<BR>

 <BR>

This is good tasting, filling and period. <BR>

But would this be acceptable to diners for something as elegant<BR>

as 12th Night? Should I "fancy" it up some? Remember that kitchen<BR>

facilities are limited at the site so this will have to be pre-cooked<BR>

and warmed there. <BR>

 <BR>

Also, please remember that 12th Night is now Regional. It isn't just <BR>

Steppes and we would love to see folk from outside the barony <BR>

participate.<BR>

 <BR>

So..Keep It Simple, Stupid? Or provide the elegance as required of a<BR>

Grande Feast?<BR>
