has been very sparse, with <font color=navy><span style='color:navy'>no </span></font>fighting<font

month. No new deputies have been added, I request that those active
deputies continue under my warrant. Anyone who wishes to be authorized as
a deputy, please contact me.<font color=navy><span style='color:navy'> I
will no longer be seeking to use The Arlington Central Library multipurpose
room now that Queen’s Champion is over. I may consider it again
during the summer if the weather becomes too oppressive. I am, however,
still considering moving practice to Thursday night anyway, so that we can have
a day off between Sunday practice and Tuesday practice in Steppes, and between
Steppes and a Thursday practice in Elfsea. I am still attending all Sunday
practices, and will be at all Wednesday practices until they change. I
still encourage everyone who is interested in going to the Tueseday night
practice in Steppes. I will be going over there as often as I am able.<o:p></o:p></span></font></span></font></p>

Champion with Ulf of the Tor making it through six rounds, facing White Scarves
every time. He received a Queen’s Rapier for the day’s
exploits. Dirk the Just fought to second place, and was elevated to the
Order of the White Scarf by the hand of Her Majesty. The Elfsea / Steppes
melee team also successfully defended the Iron Star against all comers, standing
against 18 teams.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
