Tentatively, the planning is on short, hour long "tournies" (2 or 3 a day) and one big one. You must be a registered attendee of the convention to participate. The group came and set up their tent and combat area, but we can provide these things if necessary; not as fancy, but suitable. Since we had such a great response last year from the SCA'ers, this year we would ask for only a $10.00 weekend pre-registration charge from each person if you can get 10 or more participants. Registration would have to be confirmed and paid by June 20th so we could get things together. If someone could send a list of names and one check, that would be great. We already have an 8ft. table set for the SCA in the Artist Alley/Gaming room http://www.lazydragon.com/con/artist_alley.htm. We can accommodate other groups in the Promotional Hallway if they would like their own tables http://www.lazydragon.com/con/party_rooms.htm. We will also advertise the SCA and individual groups on our website http://www.lazydragon.com/con. If anyone would like to host an SCA Party Room, that is a great way to attract attention, plus have a lot of fun, and we have really good room rates this year as compared to last year http://www.lazydragon.com/con/hotel_info.htm. Last year a party was held away from the other parties, but this year we would like to have them blocked, so if anyone is interested, please contact me so we can arrange the room(s).
