answer to Mistress Stella's question on question 1. Sometimes if a site is close
to where you live you will be more likely to just day trip instead of going out
and camping or staying in a hotel. So I was asking what the distance/travel
time cutoff is for whether you will just day trip or make accommodations to
spend the night.

LIKE

Greetings from Mistress Stella-

Here are my thoughts on the event questions:
1. How far are you willing to travel to daytrip? (hours,
mileage) I'm unsure what information is being asked here. I usually
refer to daytripping as going to an event that day and not camping or staying
over for more than one day. Whether I day trip or not depends on many factors:
weather (If it is supposed to rain, be high winds or thunderstorm I'll
think twice about camping out.), type of event (A&S events such as
Laurel's Prize that are usually only one day don't generally have the option
of camping.), distance within 90 miles give or take.
2. What is the deciding factor as to whether you camp or stay at a
hotel? Weather, type of event, finances.
3.
Do you find it more expensive to camp or stay in a hotel? Stay in hotel
costs more.
4. If you got a break on the site fee,
would you be more willing to show up early and stay late for set up and tear
down? No. I don't think this is a good idea. Too many people would take
advantage of the price break and then not work when it was time.

5. If you day trip, what time do you generally
arrive at the event and what time do you leave? When events start. I
usually try to stay to help with clean up, as people get tired and don't stay
to help clean up as often as would be nice.
6. What
kinds of things would make you more likely to stay later, lets say Saturday of
the event? (bardic, parties, special nighttime fighting) If I'm camping I'll
stay until clean-up is done Sunday. If I'm daytripping, I like to leave after
court, as I don't like to be on the road late at night.

7. Do you have the ability to have one or two
people carpool with you to an event? (space in vehicle, for them and their
stuff) Sometimes. It depends on the people. Some people cart around more stuff
than others.

8. What kinds of things do you like in a site?
Please rank the following (1 thru 8 with 1 being most important)

<BLOCKQUOTE class=replbq
