<P>If I camp I have to take the truck that gets 12-15 MPG. If I Daytrip or hotel it, then I will take the car which gets 28-32 MPG. With the price of gass the way it is, if the event is further way than 3 Hours or 180 miles then I can take the car and get a hotel room and either break even or get out of it cheeper (as long as I can find a hotel room that is $100 or less a night)</P>
<P>Example: From my house to the Canton Fair grounds, it is 90 miles or 180 miles round trip. If I take the car, it would cost me ([180 miles / 30 MPG] x $3.75) $22.50. If I took the truck to camp, it would cost me ([180 miles / 13 MPG] x $3.75) $52. The average hotel room runs about $100 a night. I only save about $30 by taking the car, so wouldn't really be worth it for me to get a hotel room unless there were other contributing factors (bad back, someone to share the room with, etc.)</P>
<P><BR><FONT face=Arial size=2>4. If you got a break on the site fee, would you be more willing to show up early and stay late for set up and tear down?</FONT></P>
<P><FONT size=2>Some days yes, most days the answer would be no. </FONT></P>
<P><FONT size=2>If you go for such a scale then I would put it at 25% for showing up and working any one of the following: Loading, Set-up, Tear-down, unloading. If they were there for all four, then their site fee would be comp.ed (save for any non-member surcharge). Set-up and Tear-down, 50%, ect.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Arial size=2>5. If you day trip, what time do you generally arrive at the event and what time do you leave?</FONT> </P>
