We held the Tuesday night practice last night and there was a<BR>
wonderful turnout. Along with about a dozen of the rapier folk<BR>
who are usually there, seven armored fighters attended in<BR>
spite of it being announced at the last minute. Sir Killian, the<BR>
visiting knight from Trimaris, fought as well as a squire from<BR>
Atlantia.<BR>
<BR>
The park is beautiful with huge shade trees and good lighting<BR>
(when the lights actually come on) and covered pavillions for<BR>
bad weather. It is located close to downtown Dallas so the <BR>
drive isn't too bad for eastern Steppes or Elfsea fighters.<BR>
<BR>
The rapier folk had such luminaries as Don Brendan and<BR>
Don Ingve giving instruction.<BR>
<BR>
Afterwards several of the fighters went to Stan's Blue Note<BR>
for drinks and food.<BR>
<BR>
I really like the park and area and will continue to host fighter<BR>
practice there until Duke Inman resumes practices.<BR>
Everyone is invited to come out and play with us.<BR>
