<P>Ceatta, as much as I loved the Highland Games, I was just tired of a demo that took the same, or more, effort than a reasonably large away event, plus my impression was we were getting less and less cooperation from the festival. I point out the location change so we would not interfere (read, "draw attention away from...") one of the events. Plus, with the awful drainage it was a swamp.</P>

<P>Thank you for all of your efforts in the past working with the festival, we had a very good run. But for all that we are on the official paperwork, non-profit educational organization and all that - we are here to have fun, and it just was not fun anymore. </P>

<P>Crandal was brusque, and could have said it with more tact - but it is much easier to do a one or two hour demo at a school, or the one day demo inside the Arlington Library, than cart everything out to Maverick Stadium and set it up for a whole weekend for less and less outcome.<BR></P>
