I know I have already talked to a couple of ya'll, but for those I haven't,
I'm going to be doing costuming next week and will work with anyone
walking them through the patterns if they want to come over and make
garb. The garb we will be making will definitely have an "Edward" slant
to it, as it is off the patterns that I make my garb from. I am very
familiar with my patterns and type of clothing and can do them pretty
quick. I am not very quick with completely new patterns. What I am
looking at is making a pair of pants (poofy pants), a shirt, a jerkin
(doublet if you wished to make the sleeves as well), and I could walk
you through making an Elizabethan flat cap. This is primarily men's
clothing for late 1600's, but I know a number of ladies who wear the
same type of things.

Due to the fact that I want to get all this done next week, I need this
to be a hands on time. You won't learn any "great sewing tricks" from
just standing around and watching. I have a habit of doing more talking
than sewing if there are people just standing around to talk and not
working on something. You will need your fabric before you come over.
If you need some ideas on how much fabric you need, please email me.

If you are interested in coming over and working, email me to let me
know what times are best for you and what you will be working on. I am
available almost all day everyday next week, but I want to try to
coordinate as many of the same things together. I have two sewing
machines, but if you have one you are used to using please bring it
along. I'd rather have more sewing machines than people instead of more
people than machines.

Hope everyone has a great week!
Don Edward
P.S.
You will also have to email me for directions if you don't know how to
get here.
