Greetings everyone!
As well as forwarding Lady Ceara's reminder (I know,again), I wanted to let 
folks know that help is needed to set up, and decorate the site for 
Summerthing.  I am in charge of decorations, and have some ideas and 
materials.  However, anyone wishing to donate the use of any rugs, (middle 
eastern-ish), wall hangings, pillows, candleabra (large, free standing floor 
size), sheer richly colored fabric, etc. or anything else that might 
exotically dress-up the main hall, and stage area for court, would be more 
than welcome.  I believe we will be starting set-up and decorating on Friday 
Aug. 11, at 5:30 pm til, well, whenever we're done.  Hope to see many 
members of our wonderful little family there.

Summerthing: A (mostly) Middle Eastern Symposium

Summerthing is this weekend, August 12th, in Houston, Texas. Visit our
website at http://star.gate.homepage.com/Summer.html. The _tentative_ class
schedule is now up on the website.

There will be classes, a pot-luck feast, a populace vote A&S
contest/display, and a best Middle Eastern male and female garb contest.
(Documentation of origin of garb would be helpful, but is not required.)

Additionally, the Kingdom Stock Clerk is currently planning on having on
having a table on site.

The final (brief!) planning meeting is at the combined Stargate/Loch fighter
practice at the University of Houston at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, August 8.
