Annes is right about what I have. I also have some of the small banners here
at the house and will unearth them when packing for War if not sooner and
will try to get them to Stephen.

"Popups" are aluminum poled, octagonal or square, plastic, green & white or
blue
and white shade pavillions which were purchased several years back when
Stargate
had a windfall of dozens of the things fall in their lap. They are great
for
troll etc. and while not exactly period they look better than the ubiquitous
blue dining fly.

The Canton pavillion is by Panther Pavillions and if I remember correctly is
approx. 20' by 30' or there abouts. It is canvas with walls. We have used
the
walls only once and then only on one side. The canvas is unbleached. The
dagging is edged with yellow. It has wooden poles. Ropes....lots of
them....and rebar stakes. Yes, it is period. Cost the canton $1800 back
when
Patrick was seneschal...but then we got lots of money from Ren Faire in
those
days.

I'm sure Adelicia may have a picture or two in history which might serve.

No. Our chatalaine, Lady Thomasina, sort of went on hiatus and then ran off
and
got married....er maybe married and ran off. Lord Steven in the seneschal's
files I gave him has the lists that Lady Thmasina made prior to her leaving.
I'm sure he can find them. (Psst. Steven....look under "Chatalaine")

Thanks Lord Eadric. I can tell you where a lot of the stuff is off the top
of
my head.

Me-Canton Pavillion, several popups-2 I believe. Various herbalist stuff
donated thru the years such as bottles, morter and pestle, herb knife and
bowl.
A cooler for the waterbearers. Kelani might have this.
Also at lease one large sign with the canton device on it to help direct
folks
to the event site. There may be a second one stored out there because I
believe
Sean made a second one for the event last year.

Kelani-has some waterbearing stuff that is really hers but she says its the
canton's. :) Such a sweetie.

Constance-charter painting stuff.

Thorvaldr-some stuff I gave him. I don't know if he got the loaner gear
back
from Mu or not. In any event, the loaner gear has been slowly undergoing
attrition and is pushing 6 or 7 years old. I doubt if much of it is
left...but
many years ago when Innmann was still in business we purchased 2 sets of
"start
up" parts from him for the canton. Like I say, they have been heavily used
and
slowly disintigrating ever since. I doubt that much of it or any of it is
usable. There was a box made many years ago by Mayne to store the stuff in.
Again, I don't know if Mu has that or where that went.

Signy-canton boombox for the dance guild.

Steven-one or two canton banners. Canton pots and pans for feast.

Bowen-hospitalier chest made by Sean. Stuff in the hospitaliers chest.

Talmon-various archery stuff. He could tell you better than me.

Thats about it, I think. We really aren't a rich canton.

Sounds good but really it is a lot of work to move these things out of my
shed.
It would make more sense to look at it here. I have the room but Sean came
out
last spring and set everything up and we used it at MSVIIII (just for you
Talmon) It has been untouched in storage in my shed ever since. The canvas
is
stored in my house in the laundry room. We figured that there was less
humidity in the house and there would be less chance for anything like a
mouse
or cat to damage the canvas. Other than one or two spots of dirt on the top
of
the pavillion, everything is in good shape or should be.But if people want
to
come out and look it over, they are welcome to do so. *I* don't move the
stuff
cuz it is way too heavy for me to handle.

Nope, never had one nor saw the need for one. When we need something we
just
bring it up and vote on it at populace or officers. Signy has mentioned
once or
twice that the boombox will probably need replacing in the not too distant
future and occasionally Talmon needs stuff for the archery. We seem to have
everything we need although some more banners would be nice. 5 or 6 years
ago,
Talmon, Adelicia and the grandkids made some really bang up banners...we
have
the big ones still but the little ones seem to have gone the way of the
wind.
The only one I know of is the one pennant banner I have hanging in my
bedroom.
I put it up whenever I go to an event.

Yes, it is getting closer to our event and Caitlin is working on that. The
event comes together remarkably well every year. The people may change but
the
event stays pretty much the same. It is a relaxing event and was always
meant
to be that way. We have lots of competitions and lots of prizes and a good
time
is had by all. Now if it was 38 days instead of 98 days to the event and we
were where we are right now, I might be a bit concerned but not at the
moment.
