GE - Demo Directions

I was hoping to talk with you.  We couldn't get enough volunteers to help in
any area except a fighting demo (sigh...).  We have enough fighters for
Tuesday, but could use a Voice Herald (need to be there early -5:30ish - to
make arrangements).  We need another chivalric fighter for Friday, though.

Wednesday, we need Bards and mucisians - the girls are supposed to learn a
story about another country.  So any "teaching songs" or stories appropriate
for 6-10 year-olds would be good.  (We can waffle a bit - they are already
going to learn "Born on the Listfield...")

Directions to Camp Wind-A-Mere

This is a alcohol-free, smoke-free, curse-free outdoor campsite.
All persons onsite are expected to follow the Girl Scout laws (i.e. the 
SCA’s unspoken code of honor).
No A/C, but flush toilets and running water.
Gentlemen have a private restroom.


The campsite is 3 miles from Alvin:

1.	Take FM 517 from either Dickinson or Alvin.

2.	Watch for the Dickinson Bayou sign on the south side of the road.  If you 
are coming from Alvin, the Bayou sign indicates that you have gone too far.  
(Sorry.)

3.	Turn North from FM517 onto a small, poorly-marked dirt road called 
McFarland, across and around the corner from the Bayou.

4.	Follow McFarland until you see the Camp Wind-a-mere sign on your right.


Please plan to be set up and ready by 6:00pm.  The camp starts at 5:45, and 
runs until 8:30pm, with 3-5 groups cycling through a station each night.
