To the interested lords and ladies of Gates Edge,

There are many combinations of materials (easily meltable) and mold materials. I have produced two cavity molds by Dremmel tool in aluminum and cast 300 tokens in spare time in about a week. The metal used for the tokens was zinc (with a small amount of aluminum included to keep the zinc bright) instead of lead to keep the lead away from young children. Zinc melts between 600 - 800 degrees farenhight and casts sharper than lead if the mold is kept hot. Zinc cools rapidly, breakes off the sprue easily, & smooths quickly with file and sandpaper. It is also remeltable like lead. A good source of the zinc is potmetal items like old carburators and other small engine parts.
