Finishing up another degree, figuring out that I am now officially too old to play in the snow like I did 20 years ago, and getting generally cranky at the fact that we have no SCA group to speak of (officially, there is one in our area, but they never do anything), no Renaissance Festivals, no events, etc. I can't bloody wait to get back to Texas and surround myself with good, solid, friendly gun-toting meat-eating tunic-wearing people like me :-)
I do so miss the Texas events *wistfull happy sigh*
